Luncheon Meeting - Gloria Thomas - New Director Tells U-M CEW Story

Gloria Thomas was on the research staff at U-M’s Center for the Education of Women for six years while she was a doctoral student here, and coordinated its Women of Color in the Academy Project. After eight years at the American Council on Education, she returned to succeed local legend Carol Hollenshead as CEW Director in January 2009. She will discuss CEW’s unique role and comprehensive services within the University and the larger community, directly serving U-M students, faculty, staff and community members and conducting research and advocating for policies that support women and men alike, both locally and nationwide.
