Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored international service club for young professionals between the ages of 18 and 30. There are more than 173,000 Rotaractors that make up over 7,500 Rotaract clubs in some 155 countries, making Rotaract a worldwide phenomenon. The University of Michigan Rotaract Club was sponsored by our Club and officially chartered January 18, 2005; the Ann Arbor Rotaract Club was chartered in 2011.

Rotaract Clubs organize a variety of projects and activities, depending primarily on the interests of the club members. However, within the Rotaract program, all clubs undertake three types of activities in varying degrees: professional development, leadership development, and service projects (both local and international). Together, these three areas ensure a balanced club program and provide important experience and opportunities for the personal development of each Rotaractor.

Our Club’s University of Michigan Rotaract Committee meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month in the Anderson Room at 11:15 a.m. Our goal is to provide guidance and support to the Rotaractors. In addition to our monthly meeting, committee members take turns attending the Rotaract meetings. The Rotaract officers meet weekly on Tuesdays from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Michigan Union. The Rotaract general meetings are held bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Michigan Union. Committee members also support the Rotaract social and fundraising events by attending.

The committee is busy during the academic calendar from September through April, but then takes the summer off along with the students. The Rotaract committee is the one for you if you are interested in mentoring the next generation of Rotarians and you like to have fun!

Our Club's Ann Arbor Rotary Club was charted in 2011.  See officers for further information.
