Topic: Memorable Shipwrecks of the Great Lakes
In addition to his arts/entertainment beat at the News, Roger LeLievre is an avid marine photographer and historian who has served as a seaman on Great Lakes freighters. Editor and publisher of “Know Your Ships,” an illustrated field guide to vessels of the Great Lakes , he also is president of the Marine Historical Society of Detroit. He will regale us with tales of one of the most colorful and tragic aspects of the history of the Great Lakes . Host/Introducer: Don Faber.
