Please plan to arrive at 11:50 a.m. at the Anderson Room on the second floor of the Michigan Union, 530 S. State Street (11:45 a.m. if you will be using PowerPoint or other audiovisual aids). A Club member, most likely your introducer, will welcome you and escort you to a luncheon table where you will be joined by the Club's leadership.
Our program begins promptly at 12:30 p.m. Following a short business session, you will be introduced at about 1:00 p.m . to approximately 150 or more members and guests. Your talk, including a brief question/answer period, will begin at 1:00 p.m. and end at 1:30 p.m. If possible, we hope you could remain for about fifteen minutes following the meeting to chat informally with our members.
If you have not already done so, please send a brief biographical sketch to either of the co-chairs or your introducer for appropriate introductory remarks.
Should you plan to use a PowerPoint presentation, please email it as an attachment to committee member, Dan Romanchik (dan@danromanchik.com), at least one week before your talk. Our Club has a digiital video projector as this seems to be the preferred technology of our presenters.
We also will be able to provide you with an overhead projector, a VCR or a slide projector on a week's notice.
